Do you deliver, and how much does it cost?
Yes, we deliver! You can get a shipping quote using our online shipping calculator before placing your order.
Delivery costs vary depending on the products ordered, the overall weight of your order and your delivery postcode.
Due to the size and weight of our wall panels, deliveries are made kerbside only. We recommend making sure someone is available to receive your delivery and arrange for the panels to be moved to their final location. Your delivery will usually be scheduled for a particular day, with arrival expected before 5pm, rather than within a specific time slot.
How do I know which panels are right for my project?
Choosing the right wall panelling comes down to the look you want to create and the character of your space.
Full-height or half-height? Full-height wall panelling extends further up the wall, creating a more dramatic, statement look. Half-height panelling covers the lower portion of the wall, offering a classic, balanced style that can add character without covering the entire wall.
York or Oxford? Our York profile features a distinctive double V-groove and bead detailing for a more decorative, traditional look. Oxford offers a simpler, cleaner single V-groove profile for a more understated finish.
Think about the atmosphere you want to create, whether that's a bold feature wall or subtle architectural detail, and choose the combination that best suits your vision. You can explore our decorative MDF wall panels to compare the available styles and finishes.

Installation and finishing
Can acoustic wall panels be cut to size?
Acoustic panels can be cut to suit your wall dimensions and installation requirements. The appropriate cutting method will depend on the panel construction, so we recommend checking the product-specific installation guidance before cutting.
Can I cut the panels to fit my wall?
Panels may be cut to suit many projects, but the appropriate tools, cutting method and edge finishing depend on the profile. Always follow the product guidance and use suitable protective equipment.
Can I paint the panels?
This depends on the supplied finish and the product's preparation requirements. Follow the relevant product guidance for sanding, priming and painting.
Do the panels arrive primed or unprimed?
Our panels are supplied in the finish stated on the individual product page. Please check the listing to confirm whether your chosen profile is primed or unprimed and whether further preparation is needed.
How do I install the panels?
Installation depends on your wall surface and the product. We recommend checking the installation guidance before starting, including the appropriate fixing method, wall preparation and any cutting required.
How are acoustic wall panels installed?
Acoustic panels can generally be fixed directly to a suitable wall using an appropriate adhesive or screws, or installed onto timber battens. For improved sound absorption, fitting panels onto battens with acoustic insulation behind them can be beneficial. Always follow the installation guidance for your chosen product.

You can contact us at hello@neatpanels.co.uk with questions about products, installation, orders or larger projects. Please include your order number if you're contacting us about an existing purchase.
How do I clean and maintain acoustic wall panels?
Acoustic panels require very little maintenance. For everyday cleaning, use a soft cloth that is slightly damp to remove dust and marks. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals and excessive moisture, and follow the care guidance for your chosen finish.
What if my order arrives damaged or there's a problem with my panels?
Please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where relevant. We'll review the problem and explain the next steps. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Products and suitability
Can I use the panels in bathrooms or other damp areas?
MDF panels are not automatically suitable for wet or humid environments. Suitability depends on the specific product, its finish and the installation conditions, so check the product guidance before using panels in these areas.
Do acoustic panels soundproof a room?
No. Acoustic panels are designed to absorb sound and reduce echoes and reverberation within a room. They are not soundproofing products and will not completely block noise travelling between rooms or from outside.
Should I choose full-height or half-height wall panelling?
Full-height wall panelling creates a more continuous, statement look, making it ideal for adding character and architectural detail across an entire wall. Half-height panelling is a great choice for creating a classic, balanced look, particularly in hallways, dining rooms and living spaces. The right option depends on your room, the look you want to achieve and how you'd like the panelling to complement your interior.
What are acoustic wall panels?
Acoustic wall panels are decorative slatted panels designed to help absorb sound and reduce reverberation within a room. Combining an attractive finish with an acoustic backing, they provide a practical way to improve the sound environment while adding texture and character to your interior.
What size are your panels?
Our current panels measure 1220 × 606 × 9mm. Please check the individual product listing for the exact dimensions and profile details before ordering
